Songs on Repeat #2
Well, it's time for another one of these. I have a pretty serious post coming on Monday, and I didn't post on Friday, so I thought it was a good time to share another playlist for the new month.
For November, we've got a lot of music from playlists I made to help me write through NaNoWriMo - character- and plot-inspired playlists to get me in the mood to write about this new batch of silly little characters doing silly little things.
Without further ado:
- "Color In Your Cheeks", The Mountain Goats
- "Queen Bee", Johnny Flynn
- "Look Who's In Love", Gwen Verdon and Richard Kiley
- "Lady Eleanor", Lindisfarne
- "Levitating", Postmodern Jukebox, feat. Sweet Megg
- "Rain in Soho", The Mountain Goats
- "Ruby", The Apples in Stereo
- "Waltz, No. 2 (XO)", Elliott Smith
- "Other People's Tongues", Dan Emery Mystery Band
- "Tim I Wish You Were Born a Girl", of Montreal
And there we have it. You can definitely still see (hear?) the influence of the Moral Orel soundtrack on what I'm listening to. You can also tell I rewatched Emma. And that maybe this thing I'm writing is a bit moody. Just a bit.
All songs link back to Spotify, and if you give them a listen, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. :)
